BIOGRAPHY
Renee Sacks, Ph.D. is recognized as of one of the country’s leading advocates for women and small business owners.
 
A passionate educator, author and publisher, Dr. Sacks serves as the Executive Director of the Women Builders Council, Inc., where she works to further its shared mission of increasing diversity and the role of women and minorities in business and government.

In 1986, Dr. Sacks founded Sacks Communications, a full-service integrated marketing communications firm headquartered in Manhattan. For over thirty years, she has been a leading strategic consultant and advisor on issues of diversity, public relations and strategic business development across diverse markets, including construction, transportation infrastructure and energy.
As part of her firm’s services, she produces educational and motivational programs for audiences of 200 to 2000 that create new conversations and bring innovative thought leadership center stage.

Dr. Sacks is also the publisher of Diversity Agenda, a magazine credited with bringing together the nation’s top decision makers and advocates, to change the conversation on diversity and its impact on business and beyond.
She holds a Ph.D. in linguistics from New York University. Before forming her firm, she was a professor at New York University and Hofstra University’s School of Business.
